Kit's Story
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Kit is dreaming of a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. She is a tender hearted girl who will thrive in a home that is calm and predictable. She loves going for walks, riding in the car and she loves getting cozy on a pile of blankets. Kit enjoys being with her people and welcomes any invitation to join them in the family plans.

Kit is living with dogs in her foster home and she is showing us how much she enjoys their company. We are looking for a home with other respectful dogs that might like a gentle friend. We're not sure if Kit has any experience with cats but we think, because of her sweet personality, that she will be fine with proper introductions. Fast movements and loud noises cause her to be a little nervous, therefore, any children in the home should be over the age of 10 and have an understanding of how to respect animals. Kit is crate trained and has learned proper potty manners in her foster home. Any adopters should be willing to continue with a predictable routine.

Kit recently received a wellness exam with bloodwork. She was spayed and received a dental with one extraction. Kit is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 4 years old and weighs 16 pounds. Her adoption donation is $350.

lease note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
