Sweet Kissy really wants an adoptive family. Kissy was given her name by her foster mom as she loves to gives kisses. This 4 year old Maltese originally came from a puppy mill and somehow ended up in a shelter. Am. Maltese Rescue was contacted to take care of her as she had a heart murmur. A cardiac evaluation determined that Kissy was born with a heart defect and surgery could repair her heart defect. Last summer successful cardiac surgery was done. Kissy was recently spayed and her teeth cleaned. During her surgeries and healing, Kissy continues to be a loving, cuddly, kissy little girl. While in foster care she has received lots of work with house training and has made great strides.
