DOB: Sept 8/2025 Kishi is my name. Kishi translates to "Night" symbolizing mystery, darkness and beauty. With my smooth silky dark black color, I am beautiful, so the name reflects perfectly don't you think? Mystery - well what I grow up to be will be a 'mystery' so if you like mystery's - I am the pup for you! Did I convince you yet??? Well, if not let me tell you a bit about me. I am a happy go lucky girl. My tail is always wagging and I love to explore. Life seems to be so much fun and I can't wait to have all my vaccines so I can really explore it. I appear to have a lot of lab traits in me. My mom tells me I am just too smart, and I also enjoy chasing a ball so is that labish enough? LOL I am learning my basic skills but as I am only a youngster so it will take some time. I am working on potty training. I understand to go outside but I do still have accidents, but I know I will master potty training 101 real soon if you help me. I enjoy running around so I bet I will be a great hiking buddy as I love being outside. If you do outdoor activities, I might be the perfect fit for you. I like to play with my siblings and the foster dogs so I think I would be happy in a house with or without other dogs as long as you understand the most important thing - I rule! Pause4Change's Adoption Policy

Due to integration issues, there are some pets with incorrect statues or are missing from Petfinder. Please visit our website for the most up to date information. We first do an online application through our website, then if we think the application aligns with our mission we do a phone screening, from here if they still seem like a good fit we do an initial meet and greet with the foster home, if that goes well the animal then goes for a home visit for the day where the foster home gets to go see the house and make sure there are no concerns. From there the adoption will proceed. If the dog / cat is not spayed yet they will go into foster to adopt until the surgery is performed.
