Kirk's Story

Kirk is a wiggly butt of joy. He was born in the shelter on 11/14/25. He, his siblings and his mom were rescued from the shelter. He had a sad start to like but things have greatly improved since his rescue. Everything makes him happy and he has a wiggly wag to prove it. He's friendly with both large and small dogs and will be your partner in crime, human or pupper. He’d make a great family pet. He'll happily keep you company whether you are gardening, cooking, walking or showering. And if you crave a long nap he's right there with you. He's not a lazy boy though, he loves to play fetch with almost any ball and any toy that squeaks. He is athletic and would do well with agility training. He loves the outdoors and is eager to explore. He is socialized and would do well with a pack or on his own. He is a chewer, but ice will keep him busy almost as much as a bully stick.

We need to get this boy adopted. He needs to grow up in his own home with his own family, something he has never had.

Get the word out and share his post. He’s staying without paying in Fontana, CA.

Apply at
https://www.dachshundsandfriends.org/
