At her core, Kira wants to be the center of your world and will thrive with someone who loves a confident, opinionated dog. Kira is looking for a female owner, ideally an older adult who enjoys doting on their dog. She does not like men and will bark and charge at them. While we believe she could live in a home with a man alongside a woman, it would require significant time, patience, and commitment for her to feel safe and comfortable.<br/><br/>She does best in a no kids home and can live with dog-savvy cats. When it comes to dogs, Kira is dog-selective and prefers to be the queen. Size doesn’t matter to her. She may pick on dogs her size or larger, especially if she feels they’re competing for your attention. She’s known to wedge herself between your legs and growl if another dog gets too close to her person. Kira currently boldly lives among 20+ other dogs at her Safe Haven while she awaits adoption, trotting around like she owns the place. See? Queen.<br/><br/>Kira is an absolute snuggle bug.
