Kira's Story

Introducing Kira
DOB: 12/15/24 ish
Female
Meet Kira, a half border collie half lab with 100% all the love in the world. She spent her first 3 months of life on a chicken farm with her mom and siblings. At now 8 months old, she is a dog looking for her first job. She loves her people unconditionally. She's wary of new people (more so men) but she can be easily won over with a good squeaky toy or two. She has been around dogs, cats, older children, and younger children. Ideal home would be no small children (anyone under 5) only because she does have herding instincts. She has shown no aggression towards our cats but would rather engage in a game of chase. She is house broken, crate trained, leash trained, and, overall, has good recall. Her previous owner would talk her to lime ridge open space for an hour twice a day for a run. This little girl has energy to spare!
If you are interested in Kira, please go to our website at www.ebarr.org
