Kip's Story

Meet Kip! We know- he's the cutest gremlin you've ever seen. Please make sure to read his entire bio prior to applying and note it in your application!

Kip is as cute and as sweet as they come. He's never met a stranger and is happiest getting love and snuggles. He tries his best to play and make friends with everyone- human, dog, or even cat! Unfortunately, Kip is a result of unethical breeding. He was found as a "stray," but was clearly bred to have the "velvet rope" Frenchie appearance. Because of his irresponsible breeding, he has poor genetics. His joints and his back are not formed appropriately. Because he had a hard time being under anesthesia for his neuter and because of discussions with vets, we do not feel surgeries for any of his joints is the right decision. An adopter of Kip would be accepting his medical and taking that on for his life. He gets around great and you wouldn't know anything is wrong. He has a great quality of life, and we think he's just a special boy! He is currently undergoing Heartworm treatment (covered by the rescue), but otherwise his medical is now completed.

If you are ready to adopt your new best friend and take on whatever medical may come your way, apply now for Kip at caitiesfosterfam.org/adopt. Make sure to note about his medical concerns in your app to be considered.

Caitie's Foster Fam's Adoption Policy
• Potential adopters are required to submit an adoption application and be approved before they can physically meet a foster dog. All pets in the home must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered (medical exceptions must be communicated). We require an application, virtual home visit, personal/vet references, meet and greet, and $350 adoption fee. • Suitable applicants may be contacted for additional screening. • Once approved, meet and greets with the foster dog and foster parents will be scheduled with qualified applicants. • The adopter pays adoption fees and signs an adoption contract. Foster dogs cannot go to a potential adopter’s home until the fee and contract are received. Foster dog then goes to its new forever home.
