Hi, I’m Kip! I’m a 5-year-old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, weighing about 14 pounds, and I’m a sweet, calm little guy with a heart full of love. When I first arrived, I was a bit shy and needed some time to warm up, but after a little care and grooming, I came out of my shell and showed everyone just how wonderful I am. I was severely matted and needed to be shaved down, but I’ll be fluffy again in no time! <br/><br/>I love being around people and other dogs — playtime is one of my favorite things, and I really enjoy getting scratches and attention from my humans. I’m not overly energetic; I do get a little burst of excitement when I first get out to explore, but most of the time, I’m calm, happy, and easygoing.<br/><br/>I’ve learned to be comfortable in my kennel, I’m well-mannered, and I love being included in whatever my people are doing. I’d do best in a home that can offer gentle play, love, and companionship.<br/><br/>I will come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
