You may also email us at petadoptions@kckpd.org to inquire about where you can meet any of our pets. <br/><br/>-----------<br/><br/>Meet KINGSTON!<br/><br/>Kingston's world changed overnight. <br/><br/>His family loved him very much, but after a heartbreaking series of events, they lost their home. His mom was devastated when she had to make the impossible decision to surrender him while trying to care for her baby and navigate life without stable housing. It wasn't because Kingston wasnt loved--it was because she wanted him to have the chance at a safe, comfortable life.<br/><br/>Despite losing everything familiar to him, Kingston hasn't let it dim his sweet spirit.<br/><br/>This handsome boy is still all smiles, tail wags, and toy-filled adventures. Kingston is a big, lovable goofball who absolutely loves playing with toys and making people laugh with his silly antics. He may be a senior on paper, but he's definitely still a puppy at heart! He loves attention, enjoys making new friends, and gets along well with other dogs.<br/><br/>Kingston has already experienced so much change. Now all he needs is a family to show him that happy endings really do exist.<br/><br/>Kingston is an 8 year old American Bulldog Mix and he weighs 61 lbs.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
