His bite occurred early in foster care while he was scared and overwhelmed in a brand-new environment. His current foster has now had him for nearly 3 months and has watched him transform into a loving, playful companion who enjoys belly rubs, zoomies, daily walks, and quietly curling up beside the people he trusts. Giving King the time and space to feel safe made all the difference.<br/><br/>King isn't looking for someone who expects instant love. He's looking for someone willing to earn it- and once you do, you'll have a fiercely loyal best friend for life.<br/><br/><br/>Adoption FEE: $250 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.<br/><br/>MEDICAL: Has intervertebral disc disease which is a spinal condition where the disc bulges or ruptures. He is on pain meds.<br/><br/>A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process.
