VIP: King is about 3 years of age. He is a sweet boy but a bit skittish at first but does warm up quickly. King went on a group dog walk to a park with other dogs at the shelter and was patient while being harnessed and was very excited to go on a walk. He needed a little help getting into the truck but more because of not knowing his surroundings. King rode well in the truck and liked to smell and see all along the trip. He walked well on leash occasionally stopping to sniff things because there was lot's of smells!! King is not overly affectionate and is a classic Shepherd vocalizing to everyone that he has arrived! He got along with all of the other dogs in the group. King is a good boy who likes his back scratches!<br/>He was never claimed by his owner and wants a great home! <br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed.
