King's Story

King is an incredibly social, well mannered 3 year old Cane Corso. He is a big boy but a gentle giant. He loves people and other dogs. He is housebroken. He has had some exposure to cats and with experienced intros he does well but he will initially be a little excited and need someone patient and experienced with cat intros. Please note: due to breed, homeownership is required to adopt King. ADOPTION FEE $150, includes: Dog spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. 30 days of free pet insurance through MetLife A free "clean start" bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing and nail trim at Scenthound Free training support for the life of the pet, including group classes. Adoptions are by appointment, please fill out an application so we can get to know you better.

Happy Trails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

An adoption application is required, as well as an in-person meet and greet with the dog. We DO NOT ship dogs out of the area, we are located in Central Florida and all adoptions must occur in person. Adoption requirements vary on a dog to dog basis, our goal is to find a dog that is the right fit for you - and a home that is a great match for the dog. We keep our adoption fees as low as possible, but adoption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. We are honest and upfront about everything we know about the animal you are adopting, and expect you to put serious thought into the commitment of adoption before moving forward and be committed to the dog life-long.
