He's a well-mannered older gentleman who's ready to find himself a retirement home to live out the rest of days in peace and comfort.<br/><br/>We got King in from a bad hoarding/neglect situation. He was used as their guard dog, though, aside from him looking and sounding pretty intimidating, he's honestly just a big sweetheart who just wants to spend time with you and explore his surroundings.<br/><br/>King can be a bit picky with the canine companions he likes. He's a grumpy old man who likes his space, so a dog that can respect that would be best. He also does well with cats, so long as the cats are used to dogs and won't swat or be aggressive with him. He does well around all people, including kiddos. He's housetrained and does phenomenally on a leash. <br/><br/>An older gentleman such as King deserves to have a comfortable home to live out the rest of his days. He's still got plenty of spunk for as old as he is, but overall he just wants to be your oversized lap companion. 🐾
