He is great with every person he has met and was a favorite at the groomers. He rides great in our car and goes into his kennel without a problem. Had a new fridge delivered by Lowe’s today and King was great. Didn’t try to charge out the front door and was perfectly behaved with the delivery guys coming in and out. Only issue he has had was he might be a little iffy toward male dogs, but I’m not 100%. I took him around my mom’s dog and he was reactive with barking (he never barks) so I didn’t push it because he is a lot bigger than my mom’s dog. I’m assuming this behavior has to do with him not being neutered. He is great around our female dogs and he has not tried to hump anything, which I was pleasantly surprised by. He is a great dog and would make an awesome addition to anyone’s life. His pre-neuter appointment is next Thursday 1/15 & we hope to get his neuter scheduled as soon as possible. We won’t be looking to match him to his new home until after his neuter. <br/><br/>1/04/26-I took King for a spa day today. He was a good boy, got a new bandana and a toy.<br/>He also did great in the crate last night.<br/><br/>1/03/26-King is a sweet 4yr old male boxer owner surrender that came into rescue today thanks to his transport volunteers. His owner moved in with family & they are now over the number of dogs they can have. He lived with & was good with several kids over 4 & two dogs. He had a quick trip to the vet this afternoon to get his shots & heartworm/lyme test (all negative)& he did awesome! We are working on getting an appointment for his neuter & once he is neutered he will be ready for his new home.
