King had a rough start to life and is still learning what life as a dog really is. They tried to make him something he wasn’t, a guard dog. They were living in a darker world while he was trying to see a lighter one, but he wanted to please them. He is slowly learning to trust the things and world around him. King has never had stability until he got to the shelter, he will need someone who’s willing to put in the work with training and give him the stability, socialization, and enlarge his world. He can be a bit shy around new people, but he knows the right one will come along and see the truly awesome dog he can be. King is dog selective and can be a bit too rough with the dogs he does get along with. He would do best in a home where he is the only pet, unless you are very experienced.
