Kimber's Story
This is kimber. He is 8 months old, adorable and trained! He even knows some tricks! He knows all his obedience commands, will weave between your legs on command and does a trick called a “sugar bear”. When you ask him to be a sugar bear he will wrap his paws around your arm so he can stand and balance on his back legs and then he will kiss your face. How adorable!! He is great with people. He is potty and crate trained. I'm hoping to get video of him showing off his tricks soon.
Anyway, Kimber lives with three other dogs. Recently, their little dog, who is 25 pounds attacked Kimber for the third and last time. Kimber had enough and grabbed him in his mouth and put him down and it killed him. We don't think kimber's intention was to kill the little dog. There was no blood, he did not grab him and shake him, he did not grab him and refuse to release him. He actually released him right away, but the little dog died instantly. His owners fear another accident might happen with their Frenchy, so they are wanting to find him a home with either another dog his size or no other pets in the home.
Their vet demanded that they put him to sleep if they can't find him another home by the 18th, and the owners thought they didn't have a choice. So they were planning on taking him to be euthanized on that date, until I told them to cancel their appointment, they didn't have to. So now they're planning are taking him in to be neutered at the spay and neuter clinic tomorrow and then he will be ready for his new home!

If you are interested in adopting Kimber, please go to www.rottenrottie.com and fill out our adoption application. You must live in AZ to adopt from us. #rottenrottierescueaz #RottenRottieRescue #rottweilerpuppy #rottweilerlivesmatter #rottweiler #rottie #adoptdontshop

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.

please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
