Kim K's Story
Meet Kim K!

Kim K is a 1-year, 2-month-old, 46 lb girl with a big personality, lots of friends, and one very important requirement for her future home: absolutely no cats or chickens!

Kim K is outgoing, social, playful, and loves people. She wants to be part of whatever her humans are doing, whether that means heading out for an adventure or settling in for some quality couch time.

Kim K was briefly adopted, and while that home ultimately wasn’t the right fit, it gave us some great insight into what she’s like outside the shelter. Her adopter described her as friendly, outgoing, playful, easygoing, a snuggle bunny, and even a couch potato. Apparently this energetic girl really does have an off switch!

She lived with children ages 8–11 and did well with them. She was also comfortable with both men and women and is accustomed to being around other dogs. At the shelter, she continues to do well with canine friends who can keep up with her energy and play style.

Kim K walks well on a leash and has an old injury to her right rear leg that doesn’t appear to slow her down. This girl can move!

She’s still young and will need a family willing to continue working on her manners. She isn’t completely house trained yet and may occasionally decide that something belongs in her mouth when it definitely does not. Consistency, exercise, training, and a little patience will go a long way.

Kim K’s ideal home can include dog friends, children, plenty of people, and preferably some couch privileges. Cats and chickens, however, are a definite no.

Kim K doesn’t need to be the right dog for every family. She just needs one family that’s right for her.

If you’re looking for a social, affectionate, playful young dog who can keep up with the fun and then snuggle up afterward, come meet Kim K.
