Kilia is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a soft fawn-colored coat and an even softer heart. Her journey hasn’t been the easiest, and she’s ready for a fresh start. Kilia was originally found as a stray and was taken to a rural shelter, where she was adopted. Sadly, after four months in a home, she was returned because her owner was falling on hard times. Now, she’s getting a second chance with Serendipity, and we’re determined to find her the forever home she truly deserves.<br/><br/>Weighing in at around 50 pounds, she’s the perfect “just right” size—big enough for adventure, but small enough to curl up beside you at the end of the day. Kilia’s gentle, submissive nature doesn’t demand attention, but instead, she quietly waits for it, and once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. Kilia bonds quickly with her people and becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be near you.<br/><br/>Kilia is house and kennel trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is good with kids, cats, and most dogs, although small dogs can make her a little nervous. Kilia would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. With kindness, reassurance, and love, she’s sure to become your incredibly devoted best friend.<br/><br/>-------------------<br/>Our Adoption Fees:<br/>-------------------<br/><br/>*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450<br/><br/>* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400<br/><br/>* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:<br/><br/>(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $400 and this becomes a perpetual fee.
