Kiki (Courtesy Post)'s Story

At just over a year old and 38 pounds, Kiki is a petite husky with a gentle heart, an endlessly curious spirit, and a playful streak that's impossible not to smile at.

Kiki is one of the #PicoRivera15, rescued from a backyard breeding and hoarding situation. Despite the neglect she experienced early in life, she has remained incredibly soft, sweet, and eager to connect. She's a wonderful reminder of just how resilient dogs can be.

True to her age, Kiki finds joy in everything. She bounces through life with playful bows, goofy zoomies, and an infectious enthusiasm for anything that moves. She's clever, observant, and learns quickly, making every day an adventure.

She absolutely adores other dogs and is comfortable with companions of all sizes. They help bring out her confidence, and she would thrive in a home with another friendly dog who can continue to show her the ropes. While she can be a little shy with new people for the first few moments, her curiosity always wins. Once she realizes you're kind, she's ready to be your shadow.

She's learning all the things a young dog should—how to live comfortably in a home, crate training, house training, walking on leash, and navigating the world with growing confidence. Every week she becomes a little braver and a little more sure of herself.

Kiki is looking for a patient family that will continue helping her discover how wonderful life can be. Someone who enjoys training, exploring, and celebrating the little victories will find an incredibly rewarding companion in her. With love, guidance, and perhaps a canine sibling by her side, Kiki is ready to blossom into the amazing dog she's always been meant to be.

If you're looking for a sweet, playful, resilient pup to grow alongside, Kiki just might be your perfect match.

She is courtesy posted through Dog Coalition LA.
