She can be shy when something is unfamiliar, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she is safe. People are very much her thing, and once she trusts you, she is affectionate, sweet, and more than happy to collect as many cuddles as you are willing to provide.<br/>She has excellent house manners and has been an easy foster companion. Kikakee asks to go outside, settles beautifully into a routine, sleeps quietly in her kennel, and walks well on leash.<br/>She also does well with calm dogs. Cats, however, are another story.<br/>Kikakee has reviewed the evidence and concluded that cats are suspicious.<br/>So, no cats for this girl.<br/>Kikakee would do best in a quieter home with someone who can give her a little patience as she adjusts and plenty of time to bond. She does not need anything complicated—just consistency, kindness, and a person who understands that a shy dog sometimes needs a minute before showing you how wonderful she really is.<br/>In return, you get a devoted little companion who wants to be near you, loves affection, has great manners, and will happily settle into a cozy routine by your side.<br/>Kikakee is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and free of parasites.
