Kieran's Story

Kieran is so ridiculously handsome. He is a sweetie pie who likes to snuggle and play and can't wait until he has a family to indulge him with both. He does need some work in his leash manners so working with a trainer may be a good idea to help him be the best boy. We want his new family to be active, he may not be a puppy but no one told him. This boy is strong, full of energy and just wants to go go go!

Kieran has found himself as a stray at least twice in his life so he will need a dog savvy family that is committed to making sure he is kept safe and contained in his home. This is another situation that makes training a really good idea for him. He does seem a bit clingy to people he likes so he will need to be set up for success from the start so he doesn't end up with separation anxiety. We are not sure what he would think of living with other animals and he has shown some prey drive when spotting wildlife. We think he could potentially successfully live with dog savvy cats as long as introductions were slow. He would love to be his new families only pet too though. Since Kieran is a longer haired breed he will need grooming throughout his life. Our in house groomer, Shena, is always open to answering any grooming questions so please let us know if you have any for her.

Kieran is around 6 years old as of 6/26/25

If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to get more information. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality and temperament, not breed label.
