KIA (puppy)'s Story
Meet KIA!

KIA is a 5-6 month old puppy (DOB: 4/2026) who currently weighs about 25 lbs. She came to us through our community outreach program after she was abandoned and taken in by one of our volunteers. She is a very people-connected puppy who is already showing just how smart and confident she is at her young age.

Her DNA shows that she's 34% Belgian Malinois, 35% American Bully, 14% American Pitbull Terrier, and 6% German Sheperd. In other words...she's a very smart, confident, bold dog with a working dog personality. She would do great with an experienced dog person who loves a smart dog they can train. KIA is dog friendly, with a rough and tumble play style. She can be pushy and persistent and would do well with a confident dog she can play with as well as learn from.

KIA is crate-trained, mostly house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and current on shots. If you would like to meet KIA, please fill out our brief online questionnaire https://downtowndogrescue.org/adoption-questionnaire

We adopt throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
