Khaleesi’s story matters — and what happened to her is NOT okay.<br/><br/>Khaleesi was surrendered by her owner to For Pet’s Sake Veterinary in Glens Falls, NY.<br/>Before bringing her there, the owner reached out to the SPCA and was advised to euthanize her instead of being offered help or resources.<br/><br/>That is not okay.<br/><br/>Khaleesi is an all-black, 5-year-old female German Shepherd who is severely underweight, yet incredibly sweet. She adores people and loves children. She is not food aggressive and happily allowed herself to be hand-fed by the veterinary staff.<br/><br/>She has not been properly socialized with other dogs or cats and will bark and chase. Because of this, an experienced home is an absolute MUST — one that understands decompression, structure, and committed training.
