Khaleese is a 2-year-old Dalmatian/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix — a stunning, sweet girl who has already been through more than any dog should.<br/>She came into a rescue situation that, from the start, was not what it should have been. The rescue that originally pulled her from the shelter failed her in every way — no food, no medical care, and no accountability. What made it worse: Khaleese was pregnant when she arrived. Rather than get her the care she needed, the rescue allowed illegal drugs to be administered to her at the foster home — something that is only lawful in the hands of a licensed veterinarian. When the puppies were born, the rescue took every single one of them. And then they walked away from Khaleesi entirely, leaving her without any medical vetting or follow-up care.<br/><br/>That's when we got the call.<br/><br/>We met Khaleese and understood immediately why someone reached out.
