Keys's Story
Hi there!

My name is Keys and I am hoping to unlock your heart so that you take me home! I am a seven-year old, 20-lb mixed breed (maybe chihuahua in there?) who was surrendered to SCAS after seven years with my family due to a change in living situation. I am very overwhelmed here in the shelter and am hoping I do not have to wait long to find a new family.

Per my previous owner, I get along with other dogs (and have done well meeting another small dog here at the shelter), cats, and children, making me an amazing candidate to join most households. I will definitely need some time to acclimate to a new home, as the last 48 hours or so since I arrived has been very confusing.

I am spayed, so there are no restrictions on adopting me. Please note that the shelter conducts adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis and meet-and-greets with resident dogs are highly recommended before adopting. Picture ID and/or proof of current address are required at time of adoption.
