At 10 years old and 15 pounds, this terrier is still enjoying life and is ready to find the family he's been waiting for.<br/><br/>Kevin was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition. His coat was so severely matted that the mats had grown between his toes, making every step uncomfortable. Thankfully, those painful days are behind him. After getting the care he desperately needed, Kevin has blossomed into the sweetest little companion.<br/><br/>Kevin is heartworm positive which means he is going through treatment that requires him to have a lot of rest and relaxation for the next few months which will be perfect for this sweet senior boy. <br/><br/>He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and has an easygoing personality that allows him to fit right into the pack. He's happy to join the group but never feels the need to be the center of attention. Kevin is simply content to be safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who love him.<br/><br/>Cats are not a good fit for Kevin, so he'll be happiest in a home without feline friends. He'd do well in a home with children who are over the age of 5 who are respectful of his quiet nature and can give him both patience and love.<br/><br/>Kevin has adjusted beautifully to life indoors. After settling in, he's kept his sleeping area clean overnight and has shown excellent house manners. We expect him to transition easily into a home with a consistent routine.
