Kevin's Story
Meet our sweet Kevin!

Not even 1 year old, Kevin was thrown out of a car and brought by people who witnessed the incident to a shelter for medical help, where he was placed on euthanasia. We couldn’t let that happen. With the sweetest personality, this big teddy bear deserved a second chance and a family who will love and protect him forever.
We took Kevin into our rescue and provided all needed specialty appointments. While our neurology doctor did not recommend surgery, they did recommend physical therapy and strength building, which we have been supporting Kevin with for the past few months.
We would love for Kevin to move into a long-term foster-to-adopt home, and we are offering to support the adopter with long-term PT sessions, including underwater treadmill, acupuncture, laser, and exercises to build strength. Kevin is able to walk but has a limp in his front paw that will continue to improve with ongoing PT, which we will absolutely support.

He is a big lovebug, kids, people, dogs and cats friendly, he deserves a loving home, and we are hoping to find a loving adopter who understands his minor special need and who, together with us, will work on helping him continue to get better.
