KETCHUP's Story

KETCHUP From his foster: He has been a wonderful addition to our household as a foster dog over the past few months! He navigates our home expertly, getting around the furniture and stairs with ease. Ketchup has been learning about going potty outside and will do most of his business in the yard as long as he has access to it. Ketchup loves being where his people are, whether it is relaxing on the couch or working out in the shop. He likes to just follow us from one part of the house to the next. While we think he would do best in a quiet home with a predictable routine, he also has done well on short camping trips and he enjoys hanging out at our local breweries. Ketchup does well with slow introductions to other dogs. He seems to prefer the company of relaxed mature dogs who will just lay around with him. Overall, Ketchup is a total crack up and an absolute love. He is going to provide someone with endless joy and companionship! Ketchup is blind, rides nicely in the car as long as he is hooked in (otherwise he'll join you in the front seat!), and has done well with the resident cat in his foster home. He is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 55 pounds. If you're interested in meeting Ketchup, please visit https://humboldtgov.org/2658/Animal-Shelter and fill out an application to be pre-approved to make an appointment.
