Kermit the Dog's Story
Sex: Male

Breed: Pitbull

Estimated Date of Birth : 05/02/2024

We live in a world where different is considered disposable. Where those differences make a life somehow less valuable. Where people prefer to discard rather than putting in the work to help that life shine. We are all about second chances and the underdog will always be our champion! Kermit is one of those underdogs. As adorable as he is determined this little pittie has a heart as big as his potential. He's destined for greatness and has the right amount of drive to overcome all that life has thrown his way. Kermit stole our hearts with his resilience and happy go lucky vibes and we know with just the right home this little boy will live up to his future greatness.

Kermit was rescued from the Kern County Animal Shelter. Found abandoned in Lamont, a very rural area of Kern County, Kermit was likely discarded by his breeder due to his inability to use his back limbs. Sadly dogs with mobility issues are rarely adopted out of shelters and Kermit needed rescue help to save his life. We gave him the chance he so desperately needed.

But don't let Kermit's differences fool you this boy can MOVE! He's absolutely not hindered by the way he was born and lives life to the fullest every day. He's full of pittie love and all that pittie determination. His set of wheels gets him where he can't go on his own and he just needs an understanding human and maybe a fun canine friend to pal around with. If you think that may be you and you want to learn more about living with a wheelchair pup please apply to meet this sweet boy in person. He's ready to give you all the cuddles and love your life was missing and we promise his care is not as hard as you may think.
