Kermit's Story

Absolutely gorgeous sweet timid loving boy. He takes a moment to warm up to people but then becomes a velcro dog. Crate trained, house trained and sleeps thru the night. Working on leash training and he is coming along. Watches TV. Is a talker. Good with bigger and smaller dogs. Loves water. Has brown and black freckles. Good with walkers and wheelchairs.
Puppy energy and jumps so may be better with older kids.
Uses doggie door at foster home but whines when needing to go out here.

Found dumped near a warehouse in a box, so young there was no way they would survive. Because someone stepped up this little Sesame Street family has a chance.

All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
