Kermit's Story
Kermit is a 3 year old Male Neutered Border Collie Mix who was transferred to us from Tehema County Animal Services in Red Bluff, CA. At the time, the Tehema shelter had over 103 dogs in their care. Most of the dogs have to share kennels with 3 or more other dogs. Tehema County Animal Services were grateful to revive any help or relief. He was found as a stray and was in their care for around 75 days before coming to PetsLifeline. He jumped right into the car and rested comfortably in his crate for the 3 hour drive to PetsLifeline. It's pretty clear from looking at him that he is very underweight. We plan to closely monitor him and make sure he gets the calories he needs. It will take some time and patience to get Kermit to where he needs to be but as you can see from looking at his face, he is well worth it.
