Kenzie's Story
The Bearded Lady with the World's Cutest Underbite

We have a confession...Kenzie has become completely impossible to photograph. Not because she won't sit still (although that's occasionally true), but because every time she runs over to the camera, she insists on giving kisses instead.

And if you're lucky... You might even get one of her famous little love nibbles.

Don't worry—they're less "bite" and more, "I love you so much I don't know what to do with myself." Add in her tiny little underbite, and it's honestly almost too much cuteness for one puppy to be allowed to have.

Born on April 3, Kenzie is our scruffy little bearded beauty, and we don't think we've ever met another puppy quite like her. We believe she may be a Wire-haired Dachshund/Morkie mix, but whatever combination created that adorable beard and those hilarious little teeth deserves a standing ovation.

Kenzie doesn't simply enter a room...She bursts into it like she's late for the best party ever. She's playful from the moment her eyes open until they're fighting to stay open at the end of the day. She loves to zoom around the yard with her siblings, wrestle with another dog, collect toys she has absolutely no intention of sharing, and then come barreling back over to cover you in kisses before racing off for her next adventure.

She loves hard. Really hard. The kind of puppy that climbs into your lap, licks your chin, gently grabs your sleeve with that tiny underbite, and looks at you like, "You're my favorite person today... and probably tomorrow too."

Kenzie is already doing wonderfully with her crate training and is making great progress with potty training. She's smart, confident, and incredibly social. She's happiest when she's in the middle of the action, whether that's helping you fold laundry (by stealing socks), supervising dinner preparation, or convincing another dog to play one more game of chase before bedtime.

One thing we know without a doubt is that Kenzie absolutely needs another dog in her forever home. She has grown up surrounded by canine companions and absolutely thrives with them. She loves to wrestle, chase, cuddle, and play until everyone is happily worn out. Because of this, we will only be considering homes that already have another friendly, playful canine companion.

The funny thing about Kenzie is that her beard is what catches your attention... But it's not what steals your heart.

It's the way she races over like she's been waiting all day just to see you. It's the kisses she insists on giving before you've even had a chance to say hello. It's those tiny little "I love you" nibbles from her adorable underbite that somehow make everyone laugh instead of pulling away.

Before you know it, you'll find yourself looking at this scruffy little face and wondering how something so ridiculously cute can possibly be real.

See More Videos of Moxie and Tilley's Crew here:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL80kWIlZCtlSEDd5NFaH91Z_o_oOBjlYq

+++++++

What Is a Benefactor Dog or Puppy, and Why Is the Adoption Fee Higher?

Benefactor dogs and puppies are typically specific breed mixes or high-demand rescues who tend to find homes quickly even with a higher adoption fee. These dogs play a special role in our mission.

Their increased fees help cover the costs for dogs who need much more time, care, and resources before they're ready for adoption. Most dogs spend months and even years in our care, requiring expensive surgeries, heartworm treatment, behavioral training, and ongoing medical support.

By adopting a Benefactor dog, you're not only giving them a loving home you're also helping to fund the second chance of another dog still waiting for theirs. Its a meaningful way to make a difference beyond just one life.

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/260401018308040

+++++++

Kenzie is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!

+++++++

The Truth About Rescue:

Every rescue pup is a work in progress and thats the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.

Adoption isn't about perfection; it's about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they're finally home. Thats when youll see them bloom soft and steady into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you'll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

+++++++

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.

Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Check out all of our adoptable pups and learn more about our rescue on our website: www.stmuttsrescue.com
