Hey – Thanks for checking me out!!! My name is Kenya and I am 2 years old as I was born on 06/03/2016 and I am about 45 pounds.
I came to MPBR with my 10 babies who will be ready to go to their new homes mid to late June. I live in a foster home with 2 other dogs who I have been very social with and get along great with.
I really like my snuggle time with my foster mom and like to stick pretty close to her. I take advantage whenever I can to sneak kisses, snuggles and get lots of pets. Sometimes I have to share my foster mom with my 4 legged foster siblings and even though I try to snuggle closer I am very respectful of them and do a great job sharing.
I am just starting to open up with playing as I have been very busy taking care of my babies. I enjoy playing in the yard and resting in the sunshine. I enjoy bones and stuffed kongs at any time but especially to keep me busy in my kennel when my foster mom goes to work. I do a really great job being very good in my crate.

I know how to sit very well and I am great with leash manners and know to wait for my dinner and wait to come out of the crate calmly when my foster mom is ready. When my foster mom says my name I always respond to her.

Things I am learning: Working on down, shake , wait for release from a sit. I do need some training.

I am fully potty trained and go to the door to let my foster mom know when I have to go out .

Humans are a favorite of mine. All are good. I do not live with kids but have been with many and my foster mom fully trusts me with kids and any new people I meet. I mean, what can I say, you can not have too many laps to lay on or too many faces to kiss. I will follow you everywhere.

I get along great with the dogs in my foster home but my foster mom always encourages slow introduction to newbies to be sure they like me.

As far as cats go, I have not been around them at my foster home and she is not aware if I lived with cats previously. She does not believe I would have any issues with cats.

My foster mom says I have the greatest of temperaments and hopes all of my babies have the same. I am a sweet, lovable and very well mannered but of course still need to work on some training things.

My foster mom tells me I will be the best dog ever for any family who is willing to love me and continue to work with me.

I would be so happy to find my family and my forever home . My foster mom says, The wait is worth it to find the perfect fit. Are you ready to meet me?
