Five puppies got their chance to leave.<br/><br/>Nine are still waiting.<br/><br/>Kenny was one of the lucky ones.<br/><br/>At approximately 10 weeks old, he's learning that life can be pretty wonderful. Soft beds. Toys. Sunshine. Other dogs. Cats. Kind people.<br/><br/>Being separated from his siblings for the first time has been a big adjustment, so he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But every day he gets a little braver.<br/><br/>The tail starts wagging.<br/><br/>The curiosity takes over.<br/><br/>And before long, you'll see the sweet, playful puppy hiding underneath.<br/><br/>Kenny loves other dogs. He loves cats. He loves zooming through the house at full speed and then stretching out in the sunshine like he doesn't have a care in the world.<br/><br/>He sleeps in his dog bed next to his foster's bed, occasionally steals a slipper, and is doing his best to figure out this whole puppy thing.<br/><br/>And yes... those ears are every bit as adorable in person as they look in the photos.
