Routine is her biggest key to success. She doesn’t yet have a clear signal to let her people know she needs to go outside, so her humans help her by anticipating her needs. One reliable cue? When Kennedy wakes up from a nap and heads for a big drink of water, it’s time for an immediate potty break. With that kind of mindful guidance, she does quite well.<br/><br/>As with many dogs adjusting to new environments and routines, occasional accidents can happen, and Kennedy will need a patient, understanding family who’s willing to continue reinforcing her schedule with gentle consistency. She does wonderfully with this routine, which helps keep her safe and prevents overnight accidents. Though she would happily snuggle up in bed with her humans someday, her crate has been an important and positive part of her structure and success.<br/><br/>With time, patience, and a family willing to maintain her steady rhythm, Kennedy will continue to build confidence in her house manners. She has been spayed, had a dental with extractions, nares widened is up to date on all vaccinations and dewormings, tested negative for heartworm, and is microchipped. Like many Frenchies, she has some vertebral malformations… she should be allowed to live like a normal dog but not allow her to jump on/off things. Kennedy had bi-lateral medial patellar luxation and TPLO repair on both her right and left legs. She has been fully cleared by her orthopedic surgeon and has resumed normal activity with ease. Kennedy is to remain on a high-quality joint supplement in perpetuity. <br/><br/>Kennedy is a gentle, easygoing Frenchie with the softest soul and a quiet, steady presence.
