My name's Kenai, and I'm a 72-pound Alaskan Malamute mix with the heart and energy of a puppy packed into a big, fluffy body. <br/><br/>I'm curious about everything - people walking by, new smells, sounds, and even those shiny things on the counter (which, okay, I sometimes try to stand up and investigate). I'm a sweet boy who loves to give kisses and watch other dogs play, and while I can be a tiny bit hesitant when I first meet someone new, it doesn't take me long to decide you're my friend. <br/><br/>Once I warm up, I'm all in for affection and fun! I'm still learning my manners and could use some guidance as I grow, but I'm eager to please and full of enthusiasm for life. I've got an adventurous streak and would absolutely love a hiking or outdoorsy family who's always on the go. <br/><br/>Exploring trails, feeling the wind in my fur, and spending time outside are my favorite things - I've spent a lot of time just observing the world around me.
