Ken Ashcraft's Story
**MEET ME AT OUR 6/6 ADOPTION EVENT IN WESTFORD!**

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown, likely yes
Good with kids: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
House trained: Yes

Ken is a sweet, submissive guy who takes a few minutes to warm up, but once he does, he is all yours! He is a a lower energy pup that is happy to cuddle on the couch or walk around the neighborhood, checking out all the smells on the way. He spent his initial time in rescue in a boarding facility so he will need a patient family to show him what it's like to live in a home (although since coming north he has had no issues adjusting to the finer things in life!).

Ken is gentle and loves other dogs and kids. He would likely do well with cats too, although he has not met any so far. Ken is eager to please and is waiting patiently for a family to call his own.

Since coming north, Ken has mastered house training on a schedule and the crate is his happy place (he goes in willingly and settles immediately). He has a willingness to learn and please his people, so he picks things up quickly. He has limited experience walking on a leash, but with a little practice, he has come a long way and will be a pro in no time.

Ken has been waiting patiently for a family of his own to love.
