What is Raining Cats and Dogs Shelter and Sanctuary, Inc.’s adoption process?

Please fill out the adoption application, located on our website. https://rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption. All adoptions are done by appointment only with approved applicants. It could take up to a week to get a response to your application. We will perform your vet check prior to replying to your application so please complete the application as thoroughly as possible. Our adoption coordinator will reply by email so please check your email and spam folder. We are 100% volunteer and many of our volunteers, including our adoption coordinator, have full time jobs. Please be patient with us.

What is Kelsey’s adoption fee?

Is Kelsey good with kids?

Kelsey is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Kelsey good with other animals?

Kelsey is good with other dogs. Kelsey is not good with cats.

When can I meet Kelsey?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
