Kelsey greets every single person like they’re her long-lost best friend. She has this full-body wiggle and the cutest little tippy-tap dance when she’s excited to see you. She loves to snuggle and will happily sneak in a kiss if you let her. Kelsey has also done well when introduced to children! <br/><br/>When she’s not busy soaking up affection, Kelsey loves to explore the world with her nose. A good, sniffy walk is her idea of a perfect outing since she’s all about taking in the sights and smells. She’s also a clever girl who already knows cues like Sit, Touch, and Place. She really enjoys learning and would do great in a home that wants to keep teaching her new things, whether that’s practical skills or fun party tricks! <br/><br/>On a recent sleepover with one of our volunteers, Kelsey proved she’s just as lovely at home as she is at the shelter. She entertained herself politely with toys while dinner was cooking, had wonderful house manners, and then happily curled up in bed for a cozy night’s sleep. She was noted to be a “perfect roommate”. <br/><br/>At the shelter, she’s been a total playgroup rockstar and has joined 20+ play sessions. She adores a good rough-and-tumble romp and would be thrilled to have a playful dog buddy at home. That said, we’re pretty sure this little princess would also be perfectly content soaking up all the spotlight as your one and only. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a dog who can join you on adventures and then crash on the couch for movie night, Kelsey is ready. She’s sweet, fun, resilient, and very ready to find her people. 🧡
