Meet Kelo, our longest-standing (and slightly bossy) resident! This handsome 8-year-old dog has been ruling the shelter halls with his charming personality and strong opinions about other male dogs. He gets along great with female dogs (ladies’ man energy), but when it comes to other boys? Let’s just say, Kelo prefers to be the alpha of the pack.

But don’t let his tough-guy attitude fool you—Kelo is a softie at heart. He’s house-trained, has impeccable off-leash recall (seriously, he comes back faster than your Uber Eats order), and absolutely loves car rides. You got errands to run? Kelo’s already in the front seat, ready to supervise.

And did we mention he’s got style? This dapper dude lives for a good outfit. Sweaters, bandanas, maybe even a tiny cowboy hat? If it fits, Kelo wears it with confidence. He probably has more outfits than you.

Kelo is basically part dog, part dolphin—if there’s water, he’s in it. Kiddie pools? He’s belly-flopping. Lake day? He’s swimming laps. Rain puddles? He will find a way to roll in them.
