He then moved in with his two pittie-mix cousins, but it didn’t take long to learn that their youthful, rambunctious energy was a bit too much for his 13-year-old bones. Keifer is a calm, gentle Shih Tzu mix who weighs about 25 pounds and truly embodies the phrase easy companion. He’s described as super sweet and chill, does well with other dogs, and has been wonderful with adults, children, and even large family gatherings. He’s potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys leisurely strolls and spending time outside before settling back in for a cozy nap. Imagine Furever Ranch's Adoption Policy

1. Adopters view potential dogs for adoption either online or in person. 2. Adopters fill out an application form. 3. Our adoption coordinator calls the adopter and visits with them about their wants/needs and offers suggestions for dogs best suited for their situation. 4. The adoption coordinator makes contact with the adopter's vet to confirm information and checks references. 5. A Meet and Greet is set up with the dog(s). 6. If the dog is a good fit, we finalize paperwork and have a happy ending!
