Keesha's Story
Meet Keesha: A Playful Young Husky Pup Looking for a Forever Home!

At nearly 2 years old and 52lbs, darling Keesha found herself at North Central shelter in Los Angeles in early November of 2025. The shelter found a microchip, meaning she had a possible owner, but nobody came to claim her. We certainly can’t understand why. She is fun, gorgeous, soft, sweet, and friendly to people and dogs alike. Our team at Dog Coalition LA fell in love with her and she left to be fostered by one of our own team members in December.

In her foster home, Keesha is quickly learning lots of doggie skills while having fun with her many foster siblings. She is crate trained, house trained, and learning leash walking manners. She is learning to be respectful of boundaries set by her foster human and the other dogs. She is very fun and playful, gets along with everyone, and encourages playtime with her dog friends.

We believe Keesha would thrive in a home with another dog (or dogs) to play with, though with continued socialization and enrichment she could also be content as an only dog. She would enjoy a medium to fairly active lifestyle, as she is still a young and blossoming husky gal.

What You Should Know About Keesha:

-sweet, fun, friendly young cutie looking for a forever family to give her lots of love and enrichment as she matures

-would love a home with other dogs or a family that would enjoy taking her on adventures and offering structure and enrichment

To meet Keesha, please fill out an adoption form on dogcoalitionla.org/adopt and follow @dogcoaltionla for updates!
