Keelo is a striking 9-year-old Lab mix with rich coppery-brown fur, soulful golden eyes, and a heart full of love! Due to his age, Keelo is very versatile, well-behaved, and would do very well in a variety of different homes. He is equally happy spending a quiet day relaxing and watching TV as he is heading out for a day on the trail, effortlessly adjusting his energy level to fit whatever you have planned. Keelo is very well-behaved and is an excellent, gentle leash walker! He loves to lean in for pets, and is a sweet and affectionate senior fellow. He is also extremely house-trained- he is currently one of the most housebroken dogs at the shelter!<br/><br/>In spite of his older age, he still appreciates having a tennis ball thrown for him and loves to play! True to his breed as a Labrador, he loves treats! He especially appreciates hot dogs! While Keelo already knows a couple of commands, his food-motivated nature would make it easy for him to learn more. <br/><br/>Keelo is easygoing with other dogs and may be open to having an easygoing canine sibling in his new home!
