7/12/2025<br/><br/>Kayla is an owner surrender looking for a new home.<br/><br/>Hi! My name is Kayla! I am a beautiful 12 year old lady that is an owner surrender due to the landlord not wanting dogs in our home and my family is unable to afford me. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure and ask about it because there are great perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, active, playful, and affectionate! It is said that I have lived with other dogs in the past and we were best friends! It is best that I do not live with cats because I have not gotten along with them when around them. I adore children and currently live with three (ages 11, 4, and 16 years). I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in the crate next to the human's bed. I follow the humans everywhere and when left alone I will sleep. It is important for me to be crated when alone or else I will dig for treasures in the trash. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful when people lift their hands in the air but I love riding in the car, people, attention, licking people, and endlessly showing my humans how much I love them!
