Kayden's Story
Meet Kayden 💙💚

Four years ago, Kayden left our care believing he had finally found the forever family he deserved. He settled into life as a beloved companion — living in a home, spending time at dog parks, attending doggy daycare, and loving every moment of being part of a family. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Kayden’s world changed again. After his adopter went through a divorce and began working long hours, they were no longer able to give him the time, stability, and care he needs. And so, heartbreakingly, Kayden has found himself back at the shelter.

Kayden is understandably confused and sad to be here. He isn’t meant for kennel life — he’s a house dog through and through. He knows how to live in a home, how to be a companion, and how to love with his whole heart.

And oh, what a heart he has.

With one striking blue eye and one soulful green eye, plus his adorable spotted nose, Kayden turns heads everywhere he goes. But he’s far more than just a handsome face. Kayden is truly the full package — sweet, gentle, affectionate, and always ready to give the best kisses and cuddles you’ve ever received. He loves everyone he meets, is wonderful with kids, and has a joyful, playful spirit that makes him such a special family dog.

Kayden is housetrained, knows his basic commands, and has experience socializing with other dogs. He enjoys having canine friends and loves to wrestle and play, so he would do best with a dog companion who enjoys a bit of roughhousing and playful energy. His time at dog parks and daycare helped him blossom into the confident, social boy he is today.

Kayden’s story didn’t start easy. Before rescue, he was heartbreakingly dumped on an oil lease in Oklahoma — his collar removed, left behind as a car drove away. Thankfully, a nearby worker saw him and stepped in, getting him to safety and into rescue. From there, he came to us for a second chance... and now, once again, he is hoping for the last chance he’ll ever need.

Kayden is an incredible ambassador for his breed — loyal, loving, gentle, and eager to be the best boy he can be. He deserves a home that understands that sometimes life changes, but dogs still need commitment, stability, and love.

We are determined to help Kayden find a true forever home — one where he won’t have to wonder why he’s been left behind again, and where his loyalty will be returned for the rest of his life.

If you’re looking for a dog who already knows how to be a family member, who adores kids, loves people, and is ready to give unconditional love, Kayden is waiting.

Let’s make sure his story ends exactly the way it should — at home. 🐾

Please note: Some cities still have breed-specific legislation (BSL) in place. As a licensed rescue, we must follow local ordinances. We are happy to help check city regulations for potential adopters interested in Kayden.
