<br/>Age: 4.5 years
<br/>Weight: 15 pounds (currently on a weight loss plan and doing great!)<br/><br/>Kayce is a precious little Yorkie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. <br/><br/>He came into rescue alongside his Shih Tzu friend, Blake, after their beloved owner passed away. A compassionate hospice nurse lovingly cared for both boys until rescue help was secured with LPPNC and we are so grateful she did.<br/><br/>Kayce is playful, very sweet, and has the cutest habit of sitting up like a little meerkat to see what’s going on around him. <br/><br/>He enjoys toys, cozy naps with his human, and basking in the sunshine. He rides well in the car and is always ready to be your little sidekick.<br/><br/>When Kayce was very young, we were told a gate accidentally fell on him and broke both of his front legs. While he occasionally has a slight limp, it truly hasn’t slowed him down. <br/><br/>He’s active, happy, and living life to the fullest. He’s been started on a joint supplement, and shedding a few extra pounds will help keep him feeling his best.<br/><br/>Kayce has been wonderful with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only.<br/><br/>He is house trained and prefers to be kept on a regular schedule of potty breaks.<br/><br/>He is friendly with well mannered kids but is best if there are only older kids in the home since he would not appreciate toddlers grabbing him and carrying him around.<br/><br/>Kayce is sponsored by All Pets Considered, Advocate Partner.
