Katie loves toys and happily engages in play when she's feeling comfortable. Milk Bones and hot dogs are her absolute favorite treats, and they're a great way to build trust with her as she continues to settle in.<br/><br/>Katie is still learning to trust people and can be nervous, especially when moving through thresholds or unfamiliar spaces. She is currently working on potty training in her foster home and is making steady progress with patient guidance.<br/><br/>With time, reassurance, and a calm environment, Katie will continue to blossom. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
