Katie's Story

This pretty girl was a transfer from another shelter. Katie originally came from a hoarding situation, where all the other pups would pick on her- you can see some of these little scars on her. Despite this she is the SWEETEST girl, she can be a bit timid at first and takes a bit longer to warm up to men. She will do best in a quiet home with no small children. Katie is cat friendly and would do best with a laid back dog. Is she the perfect pup for you?All AAF cats and dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. All cats receive a FelV/FIV combination test while dogs over the age of 8 months are tested for heartworms. All pets are also treated for both intestinal parasites and fleas. The AAF is proud of the medical attention that is given to each and every pet as their health and well-being is of the utmost importance to our organization.

The adoption fees* for our pets are as follows:
Kittens: $85
Cats 5 months and older: $60
Puppies: $150
Dogs 5 months and older: $135

* AAF will at times have a promotion that temporarily discounts fees.

You can visit us and our pets who are available for adoption:
Monday-Friday 11 AM - 7 PM
Saturday 11 AM - 4 PM
Sunday Noon - 4 PM
Closed Holidays

You can meet the cats and kittens, however we do not do same-day adoptions.
