Kate's Story

Hi my name is Kate! I am a gorgeous, sweet girl with a great demeanor. I am approximately one year old. I was rescued from the side of the highway with my mom. I had a really bad leg injury and it was suspected I was hit by a car. I needed surgery to save my leg and now I am almost recovered and thriving! I still limp some but the doctors are confident that as I learn I can actually use that leg, I will be just like every other dog. I love other dogs, cats, and I really love kids! I rarely bark and I am a girl with good manners. I am eager to please you and just want to be your best friend.

I love being with my people and have been experiencing some separation anxiety that I have been working through with my current foster family. I am currently located in New Mexico but I can be transported to an approved adopter or foster by amazing volunteers!
