Katana's Story

Katana is an amazing lady at ~5 years old and ~63lbs. She is a leg leaner when she's looking for attention or she'll stand up on her back legs like a little prairie dog. She is treat and squeaky toy motivated and knows sit and shake, so far! She's met other dogs here and has been very neutral, when an energetic puppy jumps on her, she will walk away and just co-exist. She's met a kid here and did well with them, they snuggle up on her and played with her face and she just laid there wagging her tail. Her history with cats are unknown, but we are hopeful she could do well with proper introductions and because she has a gentle demeanor. She loves to play with toys and tug-o-war is one of her favorite games!

She's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. MY FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY A GENEROUS DONOR!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
